Prepare for Success: Why Moving Furniture and Breakables is Crucial Before Professional Carpet Cleaning

It's important to move lamps, plants and breakables before we arrive to clean your carpets. We don't want to have any accidents!
Set yourself up for a successful carpet cleaning by moving any plants, lamps and breakables.

You want your carpets professionally cleaned, right? Great! But for the best results, a little prep work goes a long way. The most important step? Clear the way! Moving furniture and breakables off the carpet might seem like a small thing, but it makes a huge difference.

Why Clear Your Carpets Before Cleaning Day?

  • We Can Reach Everything: Furniture gets in the way. If your carpet is covered, our equipment can’t reach those spots. Moving items ensures we can clean every inch, tackling all the dirt, stains, and odors effectively.
  • Protect Your Valuables: Our carpet cleaning equipment is powerful and heavy. Plus, we use cleaning solutions. Moving your furniture and breakables keeps them safe from accidental bumps, spills, or scratches. It’s a simple step that can prevent costly damage to your belongings.
  • Faster, More Efficient Cleaning: Time is money, and working around obstacles slows us down. When the space is clear, our technicians can work quickly and efficiently, giving your carpets the thorough cleaning they deserve without unnecessary delays.
  • No Uneven Results: Imagine cleaning around a couch only to find that spot looks different afterward. Obstacles can lead to inconsistent cleaning. A clear space allows us to clean your entire carpet uniformly, leaving you with a perfectly consistent and satisfying result.
  • Safety First: Clutter creates hazards. Items left on the carpet can be tripping risks for our technicians and could get damaged if equipment bumps into them. Clearing the area creates a safer environment for everyone involved.

Taking a few minutes to move furniture and breakables before your carpet cleaning appointment isn’t just a suggestion—it’s key to a smooth, successful, and satisfying experience. It’s a small effort that leads to big results for your clean carpets!

What Our Customers Have To Say

Alberta carpet cleaning cleaned my carpets.I am beyond impressed. I didn’t think service like this existed anymore. A real person (Anna), not AI, did the booking using text messages. Convenient and effective. Mark cleaned my carpets. The results are amazing. My carpets hadn’t been cleaned since the house was built 18 years ago. I thought for sure they needed to be replaced. Excellent results. Excellent service. Excellent experience. Professional and knowledgeable employees. Fair price considering the expense of replacement.

I have posted significantly more poor reviews than great reviews simply because the customer experience is in short supply out there these days. Alberta Carpet Cleaning stands out head and shoulders above the rest. Haven't had such a good customer experience in a long time. From my Technicians Laben and Tim to Jennifer in the office. All so very professional, friendly and accommodating. They had to come back twice but were so good about it. There is something to be said for a company when their employees love their jobs and have been there a very long time. Highly recommended.

I've had ACC come in a few years ago to clean the ducts and furnace and it was a fast but thorough and professional job. Once the last child moved out it was time to clean the carpet as any parent can relate so I called ACC back and the service tech did not disappoint. He came in and immediately took precautions to protect the entryway and landing, we walked through the house and confirmed what was happening (Stairway, hallway and three rooms) and pricing. Once he got started he wore the appropriate PPE and was done in about an hour. The carpets looked new again, the whole upstairs looked completely refreshed. Everything was completely dry by the next morning (he was done by just after noon) and still looked fresh and clean. Great and professional work.
