Why We Price by Areas

At Alberta Carpet Cleaning, we believe in simple, and we want you to have confidence in our pricing before we arrive. If you know the areas you want cleaned, we can give you a quote. Please note that due to differences in cleaning, commercial carpet & upholstery cleaning and flood/restoration clean up are charged at hourly rates and not per-area or per-item pricing.

What’s Not Included

We choose to separate out our Materials, Energy & Waste Disposal Fee to provide transparency about energy costs and to confirm that we legally dispose of the waste water from your cleaning.

  • $14.95-$24.95 depending on order total
  • Maximum of $24.95 per appointment (vs. unlimited increase if added on as a % of cleaning price)

Furniture Cleaning Pricing

Pricing for furniture can be tricky because there are many non-standard sizes. Include a picture in your quote or booking request so we can accurately price your furniture cleaning!

Area Rug Cleaning Pricing

  • In-home area rug cleaning from $39
  • Restorative in-shop area rug cleaning $3.75/square foot

What is an “Area”?

Regular Area (Room or Stairs)

Room

  • Single room up to 225 Square Feet
  • Living Room/Dining Room Combinations count as 2 areas
  • Oversized rooms, large basements, rec rooms count as 2 or more areas depending on size

Regular Flight of Stairs

  • Up to 13 steps of regular width (up to 36 inches or about 1 metre)
  • Extra wide stairs, additional steps, landings may have additional charge

Mini Area (Hallway, Closet, Large Landing)

  • Hallway, walk in closet, or large stair landing
  • Carpeted area smaller than a regular room

Minimum Charge

In order to ensure that we can provide great service, we have a minimum charge per service visit. You can combine carpet, furniture or area rug cleaning to reach the minimum. Materials, Energy & Waste Disposal Fee, Additional Treatments and GST are not included in the minimum charge.

Had my sectional cleaned by Lee(I apologize if the name is wrong). He arrived in the time frame I was given. He was very professional and did a thorough job of cleaning my sectional. There were some major stains I wanted gone and Lee was able to get them out. He went over some areas a few times to make sure nothing was left. The price I paid was reasonable.
